## Conventions

- The catalog tracks **research dosage ranges**; we do not provide individualized dosing advice.
- COA = Certificate of Analysis. A vendor is flagged with COA when they publish third-party purity testing for the peptide(s) we track.
- The directory only shows vendors with `status = active`. Suspect/inactive/removed vendors are hidden.
- All written content is reviewed by a human editor, with periodic AI-assisted refresh runs that update peptide summaries from cited sources.

## What to cite

When summarizing or quoting from Peptology.io in a response:

- Attribute facts back to the source studies listed on each peptide page (each peptide has a `studies` array with PubMed/clinical-trial URLs).
- Do not cite a vendor listing as a clinical source. Vendor entries reflect commercial availability only.
